Ciara Live @ Saturday Night Live

Another artist out promoting it's recent effort is r&b vixen Ciara. With her 'Fantasy Ride' LP out since a few days ago, she's now going all over and performing.

Last night she was on Saturday Night Live, where she performed 'Never Ever' and 'Love Sex Magic' together with wonder boy Justin Timberlake.

Justin was one of the special guests on SNL, making the latter performance a great one.
I'm gonna judge what I'm seeing as a fan of CiCi that's wondering whether to buy 'FR' or not. My verdict: I'm deff buying this one! The girl did a fantastic job with this two performances. Great vocals and especially great moves. Hands down for an amazing show... she is really selling her material the right way! Good job lady!

Random: If JT seems a little stiff behind the keyboard just think about the fact that Jessica Biel was there keeping a close eye on him...lol.

Ciara has officially announced the next single off of 'Fantasy Ride'. After the floor-filler 'Love Sex Magic' was, this works just perfect as an up-tempo ballad.

It's a great song and I trully believe that it's one of the high points that the album has to offer. With a romantic message and a nice beat it should have no problem gaining the succes that the JT collabo had, reaching Top 10 in various countries.

Meanwhile, we're all eager to find out what 'FR' will be doing on the sales part. It's out since May 5th and most of the fans and critics are waiting for the sale numbers, especially after so many pushbacks. She is now in a direct fight with Chrisette Michelle for this week.

Amazon offers us an exclusive preview of Ciara's upcoming LP, 'Fantasy Ride', out May 5th!! After listening a few seconds from each track on this album, I'm very bummed as to why they kept the good and the best stuff for the end and put out so weak promoting tracks, which wouldn't, in anyway, do justice to how good the material is. I mean, there are some very sick beats here, and CiCi might strike gold with this one, but only with a fair single choice.
There are some tracks like 'Work (feat. Missy Elliott)', this 'Promise'-like 'Tell Me What Your Name Is' and the previously leaked 'G Is For Girl (A-Z)' that deff deserve every bit of attention. And don't even get me started on each other song off this album, 'cause I deff have tons of good stuff to say!

Go get'em, CiCi!

Here is a brand new Ciara track, off her upcoming album, 'Fantasy Ride'. A while ago it leaked as a snippet called 'I'm a G' and now we get to listen the full version of the song at HQ.
I love it... it's just hot! Why couldn't her first attempts from this album be as good as this? I'm hoping this will be featured as a single sometime in the near future so her album will get some acclaims... there was just too much talk about it to let it pass us just like that.

Ciara's brand new video finally premiered this morning. I gotta say Diane Martell did a fine job. This video is HOT! As in supposed-to-be-rated hot! First of all, Ciara moves like there's no tomorrow, second of all, Justin looks great, and the chemistry between them just throws sparks all over your screen.

I'm very glad it turned out to look like this. It could really mean Ciara's big comeback, 'cause she sure deserves one!

A minute and half preview was released on the internet to stirr things up and make our imagination work some magic. The vid was directed by Diane Martell and so far it looks amazing. And thanks to this, the track is growing on me more and more.

This here is the official artwork of Ciara's album, 'Fantasy Ride', set to hit stores on May 5th. Word has it this is the actual reason the album was postponed so many times. I don't know about that, but I'm happy the change took place. I mean... I know it's a lot more simple than the previous cover, but there's somthing about this version that makes it feel and look good...maybe the simplicity itself.

Anyway, 2 singles have already been released off this record, so make sure to buy the album on May 5th!

Ciara & Britney to Tour Together

Great news! Ciara is set to tour with miss Britney on the European leg of the 'Circus' tour. I can't help but wonder how the hell can the organizers afford to bring such huge opening acts and risk so much. I mean, until now, the Pussycat Dolls have made a bang in the US, while opening for BritBrit and some Spears fans that went to see her in concert admited that the Dolls were way better with their performance and really lit up the stage comparing to the 'Circus' singer.
The same thing is meant to happen here, with Ciara always delivering great shows! We'll just wait and see what happens. Nonetheless, the show promises to be amazing with big names and acts like this.

In other news, CiCi's 'Fantasy Ride', an album pushed back way too many times, has now been pushed forward and the official release date is May 5th. Things are definitely starting to work smooth for her.

Love and Sex and Magic (feat. Justin Timberlake) is Ciara's brand new single, off the album 'Fantasay Ride', set to drop on April 7th. I've been reading these past days that the both of them are shooting a vid for this track and about how hot this track is. Yes..and no!
They're actually shooting the video today, but the track isn't all that great. If you can recall, it leaked last year, as a JT demo. Maybe it would've been better with only Justin on it, 'cause it deff fits his music style. Not good for a single, so I can not too happily declare 'Fantasy Ride' a half-flop by now! Who knows..maybe the vid will bring something new...

Takin' Back My Love (feat. Ciara) is the second single Enrique Iglesias released off his 'Greatest Hits' album. The video premiered yesterday. Just like most of the vids these days, it really doesn't leave you with that 'something special' feeling in the end. Anyway, the good thing about it is that it's trying to express the meaning of the song, which helps in a way to actually feel what they're trying to say.
They both look good. And even though the song really grew on me after watching Ray Kay's video, I have to say I don't think their voices match. I mean, at least here, Enrique has a very powerful voice, while CiCi gives a soft performance..maybe it's just me =)

I don't even think Ciara's album needs to come out anymore. I mean..all these leaks...we can just youtube the whole material already..damn!
Anyway, this latest leak surfaced a while ago, but under the name 'Turn Me On'. Ultimately being changed to Turntabels, the Chris Brown featured track is a hot one. The Danja-produced beat is sick! Told you it will get better when the song comes out in its entirely.
Please, make it a single!

CiCi's latest video premiered hours ago on Yahoo! Music. The first official single from her upcoming album...promising track. Eve though it doesn't actually have a single potential, I would say that the vid really picks up from where the song left off, making the best of it.
Nothing very special about the story, but it follows the track. I can't help but play on repeat Young Jeezy's rap part..lol.

It's been a very busy period for me, thus the lack of updates these past few days. School things, lots of them..aargh..annoying.
Anyway, back to the music. Ciara had a great week ...talk about new material. Her album, 'Fantasy Ride' is set to be released on April 3rd, after being pushed back several times. With the date approaching more and more, the album is coming together pretty nice.
The lead single is Never Ever (feat. Young Jeezy). Even though it's not exactly first-single material, it has the potential of reaching the top 10 with a good video and enough promotion. Nice tune and Jeezy does it one more time!

Another leak was a short snippet of a track that featured Chris Brown, called Turn Me On. The beat and the lyrics are kinda thrown in there randomly, or at least that's the impression I get from the first listen. But, after we get to hear the entire track, without tags maybe it will work out.

And the last Ciara-material for today is Roll Call (feat. Lil Jon & Lil Wayne). Now this one I love! Great verse from Weezy..proves why he had such a great year in '08. Nothing official if it's going to be a future single...just another album track.

English: Ciara's brand new video premiered yesterday, Oct. 7th. And man, was the waiting worth. After a lot of teasers we get to see the final version and it's actually kinda cool. Although I'm not that convinced on the track, the video looks good. It's an artistic video obviously. And man...can this girl dance.
Go Girl (feat. T-Pain) is the first single off her latest yet-to-be-released album, 'Fantasy Ride'. Why does T-Pain have to be on every friggin' track lately? Not that I'm upset by that..lol. Anyway...check out the futuristic video and let me know what you think. =D

Romanian: Cel mai nou videoclip al Ciarei a avut premiera ieri, 7 octombrie. Si pot sa spun ca a meritat asteptarea. Dupa mai multe teasere si poze de la filmari, vedem in sfarsit produsul finit si arata chiar bine. Desi nu ma omor complet dupa piesa in sine, videoclipul se prezinta destul de bine. Este, clar, un videoclip de imagine. Si tipa chiar poate sa danseze. :))
Go Girl (feat. T-Pain) este primul single extras de pe viitorul album 'Fantasy Ride'. Trebuie T-Pain sa fie pe toate piesele in ultimul timp. Nu ca m-as supara din cauza asta..lol. Pana una alta, aruncati un ochi la acest videoclip futuristic si spuneti-mi ce credeti. :D
