Beyonce performs 'Halo' Live @ The David Letterman Show!
Beyonce served up as a guest on Letterman's show last night. She was there to promote her new movie, 'Obsessed', talk about the American leg of the 'I Am.. Tour'. She also chatted about her sister, Solange and gave a live performance of the up-lifting 'church-choir-like'-anthem, Halo.

Very nice interview. It was good to see and hear a more open-minded Beyonce, total opposite of the image she promotes with the 'Sasha Fierce' dark-minded side.
I can't help but like Bee more and more after seeing her perform this way. I mean, she had great energy here and was in justice with the message of the song. It was clear that she put her soul into the performace... just watch her face and all her hand gestures. And once more, the vocals were outstanding.

100 'Single Ladies' take London by Surprise
100 ladies (most of them single... lol) took downtown London by surprise when, at the sound of a whistle blow, they stripped down and performed Bee's by now iconic and almost-too-famous 'Single Ladies' dance routine, which is taking the web world by storm even though it's been a few months since it came out.
The meaning of this innovative campaign was to inform people about the free concert that Beyonce will be holding at the infamous O2 arena in November. It's going to bee a free gig and since the whole thing was sponsored by Trident, the only assignemt one should fulfill to get a chance at entering the concert is to buy a pack of Trident Gum. (Contest open only for UK residents).
Ok... leaving aside the contest, I have to say I am pleasantly suprised by this kind of promotion. I find this whole dance routine idea truly outstanding and it really got everyone's attention through it's spectacle and huge number of participants in perfect sync. The part I loved the most is when all the girls take off at the end like nothing happened 'til then... lol. Let's have some more moments like this!

Here is the single version of Beyonce's one of two upcoming singles, Ego. After promoting the song in her 'I Am' tour, the remix finally leaked. What can I say? It sounds the same, there was absolutely no change to the instrumental, the only diff being Kanye's part.
It's no doubt the man has rapping skills and I love the way he comes in here and the things he says, but at a moment one could have the impression that he lingers throughout the beginning and almost takes up half of the track (after all, he actually has a huge ego... lol). Anyway, still cool.

After she was spotted a couple weeks ago shooting a new vid somewhere on a beach and two small clips of dance moves leaked on the internet, Beyonce finally decided to share her next 2 singles with her fans; and these are Broken-Hearted Girl off the 'I Am...' side and Ego off the ferocious 'Sasha Fierce'.
Good choices, although I don't know if they'll be spectacular hits. I mean, Broken-Hearted Girl is kinda too slow for everything out now and Ego will maybe score a few places on radio airplay and sales. Take for example her recent singles, which have been completely forgotten...'Halo' & 'Diva'...they didn't make a bang at all, they weren't promoted and they were thrown away.
For the record...she is going to shoot a video for every single track off this album, just like she did with B-Day.
In other news, Bee is starting her worldwide tour in a month. She already shot a promoting video for this. She's keeping herself very busy right now...but it's alright, as long the money flow keeps running down her stream.

Beyonce Performs At The Oscars
Beyonce took the stage last night at the Oscars to give an outstanding performance. Joined by other celebs like Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Dominic Cooper, Amanda Seyfried and host Hugh Jackman, she performed an amazing collage made of some of the greatest musicals this world has ever seen.
It was a great show put on by these guys. If it was mimed or if it was live, it really doesn't matter because the entire thing was planned to the smallest detail. Flawless performance from all of them!

Beyonce 'Halo' Live @ NAACP Awards
Beyonce gave her first live rendition of 'Halo' a couple of days ago at the NAACP Awards. She was one of the night's winner, receiving the award for Outstanding Female of the Year. Bad mouths talk around that she didn't thank her hubby, Jay-Z, so something might be wrong. People, maybe it was a minor slip...you just can't tell what was in her mind at that moment
Anyway, back to the performance. Even though Bee has had flawless performances before and many say that this is her most recent flawless rendition, I want to point out that this is flaw-full..lol. Ok..maybe not so many flaws, but you can clearly hear her not reaching those high notes and those very low ones. And pitch problems strike again in her live performances.
I'm just sayin'...not hatin' or something like that 'cause I know Bey fans will jump all over me. Don't worry, I'm one of her fans too.

English: And here we have Halo. The song is great, fabolous, call it anything you want but bad! Ryan Tedder really did a great job on this one.
And here comes the video. Simple...and that's kinda everything. Only one question: is that crazy annoying white light that keeps showing up the actual halo?..Not to be mean, but else I really wouldn't see the point of the vid compared to the song's message.
Deff could've been waaaay better. Still, hope it'll get me after I watch it a couple of times.

Romana: Si aici avem Halo. Melodia e super, geniala, spuneti-i cum vreti, numai urata nu! Ryan Tedder a facut o treaba grozava aici.
Si acum vine clipul. Simplu...si cam atat. O singura intrebare: lumina aia alba care tot insista sa apara cand nu trebuie este de fapt aura (halo) ?...Nu vreau sa fiu rau, dar altfel nu as pricepe legatura videoclipului cu mesajul melodiei.
Clar putea sa fie muuult mai bine. Totusi, sper ca o sa ma prinda daca il mai vad de 2 ori.

English: Bee released her latest 2 videos simultaneously just a few hours ago. I'm kinda disappointed. But, let's start with the beggining.
Up first is the vid for Diva, a true ladies anthem. The concept with all the highlights with what a diva actually represents is great. But I don't know. After 'Single Ladies', you would've thought that this would even be a bigger bang, at least for the dance routines. Anyway, deff expected something more interesting.
At the end you can hear another 'Sasha Fierce' track, Video Phone...could this be the next single? Hope not...I'm hoping 'Radio' =D.

English: 'Christmas in Rockefeller Center' took place last night in New York. Gathering to celebrate the coming of the holiday were Beyonce, Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus and others. But I'm only gonna post up here Bee's performance of a brand new song, called Ave Maria, off her most recent album. Fantastic performance! Flawless! I was left speechless after seeing and hearing her deliver such a great performance! Just check it out for yourselves.Hate it or love it?

Roc is a nice ballad, with some substance to it. Question being here: is she reffering to a 'roc' diamond ring, or is she just considering the loved one a 'roc'? Stupid question..never mind it.
Anyway, it sounds good. Who knows, maybe we'll get to hear this song on the re-release (there's deff going to be one!). Check it out down low.

English: It's official. Beyonce's next two singles will be Halo & Diva. Two great tracks off the album. 'Halo' might just be one of her greatest songs ever, very inspiring and caring ballad. 'Diva' on the other hand is a really fierce track, inspired by Weezy's 'A Milli'. A true women anthem (the second one). It is also the track that replaced 'Ego' as a second Sasha single. Both video are going to be shot sometime un the upcoming week.

'Halo' este poate una dintre cele mai bune piese ale ei; o balada de suflet, cu tema bine gandita si versuri bune. Pe de cealalta parte, 'Diva' e o melodie agresiva, inspirata de 'A Milli' a lui Lil Wayne. Un adevarat imn pentru femei (al doilea chiar). Este in acelasi timp piesa care a inlocuit 'Ego' ca al doilea single. Ambele videoclipuri urmeaza sa fie filmate undeva saptamana viitoare.
Melodii super care mai mult ca sigur ca vor scoate in evidenta albumul ei mai mult decat pana acum. Mai jos le puteti asculta pe amandoua.

English: Beyonce was one of the special guests from SNL (Saturday Night Live) last night. She performed her 'If I Were A Boy' single and offered the first full 'Single Ladies' performance. Just one word: amazing! Just listen to her singing and just watch the way she moves. She just touched the right spot. It was faboulous.
And not only did she sing, she was also part of a small act from the show, which parodies her women-anthem video. It's HILARIOUS! I repeat: HILARIOUS! Justin Timberlake is so damn funny. The whole scene killed me. You can watch the whole act down low and also the 'Single Ladies' performance. I guarantee you'll love both of them..in 2 diff ways..but you'll still like 'em. =D

English: I know you're probably fed up of all the Beyonce posts but this one, I consider it a must.
Word has it on the internet for a while that If I Were A Boy, one of Bee's recently released singles was stolen from a less-known recording artist. Her name is BC Jean, and she is the one that originally wrote the lyrics and composed the song. Still, no credit has been given to her for the work she put in. The release of Beyonce's version has been delayed at first, because of legal matters. Matthew Knowles (manager/father of Beyonce) and her producers saw a huge winner in this ballad and claimed it to themselves, leaving BC Jean with nothing. Her mother had nothing to declare about this so it's all hangin' right now. But, considering that the single is out, maybe it's all been solved.
I have to say that I'm kinda shocked by these news. I really hope that Beyonce is not one of those artist that steal from 'smaller' people and then make a name off somebody's else's work. It's kinda weird, since the track is such a strong ballad...and..I dunnow..it just sucks that this type of things happen very often in the music industry and we don't even know about them. Who knows how many talented people are left 'outside the field'?
You have here the original version of If I Were A Boy, performed by BC Jean. I really like her rough voice and it fits the tune perfectly. After a few listens, it might be better than the one that everyone's knows.

De ceva timp umbla pe net un zvon conform caruia recentul single al lui Beyonce, If I Were A Boy, ar fi furat/plagiat de la un artist putin cunoscut. Numele acestuia este BC Jean si ea a fost cea care a compus de la bun inceput piesa si versurile. Mai multe detalii puteti afla pe site-ul ei oficial: www.bcjean.net.
Lansarea variantei lui Bee a fost amanata initial din cauza unor probleme legale, se pare. Matthew Knowles (tata/manager) si producatorii ei au intuit un succes imens cu aceasta balada. Astfel au preluat-o, insa sub numele lor, iar BC Jean a ramas cu nimic. Mama ei nu a avut nimic de declarat, asa ca totul e cam in aer acum. Dar, tinand cont ca single-ul a fost deja lansat, poate totul s-a rezolvat.
Trebuie sa spun ca sunt putin socat de vestea asta. Sper ca Beyonce nu e unul dintre acei artisti care fura de la oameni mai 'mici' si castiga faima si respect pe numele lor. E cam ciudat, tinand cont ca melodia e o balada puternica si...nu stiu...e urat de tot faptul ca lucrurile astea se intampla extrem de des, iar noi nici macar nu stim de ele. Cine stie cati oameni talentati au ramas nebagati in seama din cauza unor cazuri ca acesta?
