Beyonce Performs At The Oscars

Beyonce took the stage last night at the Oscars to give an outstanding performance. Joined by other celebs like Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Dominic Cooper, Amanda Seyfried and host Hugh Jackman, she performed an amazing collage made of some of the greatest musicals this world has ever seen.

It was a great show put on by these guys. If it was mimed or if it was live, it really doesn't matter because the entire thing was planned to the smallest detail. Flawless performance from all of them!

And the Oscar goes to....

...'Slumdog Millionaire'!!!!

As critiques and fans throughout the world predicted, the best motion picture of the year is 'Slumdog Millionaire'. The movie was the big winner of the night, taking home 8 statues and surpasing other creations, like 'The Curious Case of Benjamin Button' who won only 3 out of 13 nominations!
Actor-wise, Kate Winslet & Sean Penn won the trophee for Best Actor/Actress In A Leading Role and Heath Ledger was rewarded post-mortem for his outstanding acting in 'The Dark Knight'.

And so the 81st Annual Academy Awards had their say. Some think it was a poor and boring show comparing to other years, and some say it was glamorous and delightful..you are the only judges that decide if the Awards were worth it.

The Academy Awards 2009...before!

And here they are..The Academy Awards have finally arrived. Recognizing excellence of proffesionals in the film industry and commonly known as 'the Oscars', the show will take place today, February 22nd, at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood, with famous actor Hugh Jackman hosting.

Big titles and names have equal chances of taking the golden statue home. Some already see 'Slumdog Millionaire' or 'The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button' as definite winners and consider Kate Winslet or Angelina Jolie the big female winners of the night.
Let's not forget actors like Sean Penn, Mickey Rourke, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Leo DiCaprio, Meryl Streep, Heath Ledger, Nicole Kidman and other movies like 'Australia', 'The Dark Knight', 'Frost/Nixon', 'Changeling', 'Revolutionary Road'. There are too many too count, but in the end all of them are probable winners, even though some sites already posted the so-called 'winner list' before the show even took place.

Another surprise the Awards have to offer is a performance...probably from Beyonce, who will be joined on stage by many other celebs.

The biggest awards show that honours the best acts from the United Kingdom and more, The Brit Awards took place last night! It was a glamorous show..Duffy was the big winner. The 51st Grammy Awards - Winners & Performers!

Last night was a huge night for Los Angeles. All dressed up and fancy, the city was home to the 51st Grammy Awards. Too many celebrities too count...each one of them all ready for what was probably going to be their night, counting on the fact that some of them were nominated in 4-5 catergories.
Throughout the winners' list you'll find names like Lil Wayne (who took home no less than 4 awards!), Ne-Yo, Adelle, Robert Plant & Allison Krauss, Rick Rubin, Coldplay and the list can go on and on. And here are some of the performances from last night. Some left you wanting for more, but some were able to bloe you away.

The 2009 Grammy Nominees!

English: The Grammy 2009 nominees have been announced last night and I gotta say the list really surprised me in a good way. Lil Wayne topped the nominations with eight, Coldplay gathered seven, and Jay-Z, Ne-Yo and Kanye West each earned six nominees. Follow-ups include John Mayer, Radiohead and Jazmine Sullivan, receiving five each, and Adele, Eagles, Lupe Fiasco, T.I. each earning four nominations.
Seems like it deff is Lil Weezy's year. I would like to see Lil Wayne, T.I., Ne-Yo, Bee, Will.i.am & Kanye win. These guys are, in my opinion, people that really made a mark not only with their music, but even with ther supppoting actions in various fields of activity in the past year.
The show will take place on February 8th 2009 in LA!

Romana: Au fost anuntate nominalizarile pentru premiile Grammy 2009 si trebuie sa spun ca m-au surprins intr-un mod placut. Lil Wayne conduce lista cu 8 nominalizari, urmat de Coldplay, care au adunat 7 si de Jay-Z, Ne-Yo si Kanye cu cate 6. Printre urmaritori mai apar John Mayer, Radiohead, Jazmine Sullivan, cu cate 5 nominalizari si Adele, Eagles, Lupe Fiasco, T.I., cu cate 4.
Se pare ca e anul lui Lil Wayne..clar! Mi-ar placea sa-i vad pe Lil Weezy, T.I., Ne-Yo, Beyonce, Will.i.am & Kanye castigand. Dupa parerea mea oamenii astia si-au lasat amprenta, atat prin muzica lor, cat si prin diversele lor actiuni caritabile/de sustinere in diverse domenii.
Show-ul se va desfasura in LA pe 8 februarie 2009!

American Music Awards 2008

English: The American Music Awards took place last night and what a great show! Huge number of celebrities were present. Performers included Beyonce, Pussycat Dolls, Christina Aguilera, Alicia Keys, Rihanna, Leona Lewis, Pink, Mariah Carey and many, many more.
Chris Brown was the big winner, taking home 3 awards (Artist of the Year; Favorite Male Artist, Pop or Rock Music; Favorite Male Artist, Soul / Rhythm & Blues Music). Other winners include Rihanna, Alicia Keys, Kanye West, Mariah Carey.
Some great performances were put on. I liked Pink, Kanye, PCD (what was up with Nic's voice and Mel's jacket?...still..amazing dance at the end :X), Ne-Yo, Rihanna..almost all of them worked good for me eventually. You can check some of the performers down low. What do you think?

Romanian: Premiile American Music Awards au avut loc aseara...si ce show a fost! Numar mare de celebritati prezente. Printre performeri s-au numarat Beyonce, Pussycat Dolls, Christina Aguilera, Alicia Keys, Rihanna, Leona Lewis, Pink, Mariah Carey si multi multi altii.
Chris Brown a fost marele castigator al serii, plecand acasa cu 3 premii (artistul anului, cel mai bun cantaret Pop/Rock, cel mai bun cantaret Soul/R&B). Alti castigatori au mai fost Rihanna, Alicia Keys, Kanye West, Mariah Carey.
Au fost cateva intepretari chiar mai bune decat ma asteptam. Mai interesante mi s-au parut Pink, Kanye, PCD (ce s-a intamplat cu voea lui Nicole si cu geaca lui Melody habar n-am...oricum..dansul de la sfarsit a fost genial :X), Ne-Yo, Rihanna...per total aproape toate au fost bune. Mai jos puteti viziona cateva din ele. Ce credeti?

World Music Awards 2008

English: The World Music Awards (founded in 1989) is an international awards show that annually honors recording artists based on their worldwide sales figures. This year, the awards took place in Monte Carlo, Monaco and will officially air on December 2nd. The only reason I'm writing this is because of Bee's performance. Her first live act for 'Single Ladies'.
She performed a medley, starting with 'If I Were A Boy'. She should work a little bit more on 'Single Ladies' live. Something wasn't right..maybe her costume made it a bit difficult to watch, 'cause it sucked.
Anyway...Leona Lewis, Kid Rock, Anastacia, Mariah Carey, Estelle are just a couple names that won or were just invited as guest stars. Check out Beyonce down low.
Hate it or love it?

Romanian: World Music Awards (fondate in 1989) reprezinta un show anual de premii care recompenseaza meritele artistilor, pe baza cifrelor de vanzare din lumea intreaga. Anul acesta, premiile au avut loc in Monte Carlo, Monaco. Singurul motiv pentru care scriu asta este interpretarea lui Beyonce, prima pentru 'Single Ladies'.
A avut un program medley, incepand cu 'If I Were A Boy'. Ar trebui sa mai lucreze putin la 'Single Ladies' live. Ceva nu a mers bine..nu prea a atras atentia cum ma asteptam...poate chiar costumul de pe ea care a fost oribil.
In fine...Leona Lewis, Kid Rock, Anastacia, Mariah Carey, Estelle sunt doar cateva nume dintre castigatori, sau pur si simplu invitati speciali la eveniment. Mai jos o aveti pe Beyonce.
