Black Eyed Peas set release date for 'The E.N.D.'!
'The E(nergy) N(ever) D(ies)' finally has a release date! Supported by Interscope, the band is supposed to drop their new album on June 9th! After quite a few long months of waiting, I'm happy to say that this is official.The first single, called 'Boom Boom Pow' will officialy be released in May and the Peas will go on a world tour to support their new material. Here's what frontman Will.i.am previously declared: "When (the album) comes out, there'll be 12 songs on it, but the next day there could be 100 songs, 50 sketches, 1,000 blogs all (online) around 'The End,' so the energy really, truly never dies".
This is something like the first worldwide created album, with the help of blogs, fans and music addicts around the world. Another inovation from Will!
The previous album, 'Monkey Business' sold more than 9 million copies worldwide, with 4.2 million units sold solely in the U.S. After 4 years, they're finally back as a group. Wanna bet that they'll take over the charts once more?
