Pussycat Dolls Album Re-Release: Doll Domination 2.0

Category: By Mircea
So the rumours are true. The Pussycat Dolls are actually re-releasing their sophomore effort on April 14th: 'Doll Domination 2.0'.
Usually, you re-release an album when its sales exceeded the numbers you had in mind, but this one sold..I don't know...1 million and a half units maybe...worldwide. But, considering that the other tracks that they released after the album were highly appreciated and most of their concerts were sold out, I would say the decision is fair. Only one thing that I would've done different: they should've milked the original material a lot more! Promote 'Bottle Pop' in the U.S. with Snoop Dogg and a better video, release other fan favorites such as 'Halo' or 'Takin' Over the World', boost your sales way up high and then release it again with those extra tracks that had enough time to get high in the charts. But Interscope really messed up this extremely under-rated album, so no wonder they are doing this.
Anyway, the album will have some extra material, like 'Jai Ho', 'Top Of the World', 'Hush Hush (remix)' and a new track called 'Painted Windows', next to some fan favorites and other DD songs. Hope these new songs will al lbe promoted with a decent video and receive enough airplay to save this mess that their record company created!
