The Academy Awards 2009...before!
And here they are..The Academy Awards have finally arrived. Recognizing excellence of proffesionals in the film industry and commonly known as 'the Oscars', the show will take place today, February 22nd, at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood, with famous actor Hugh Jackman hosting.Big titles and names have equal chances of taking the golden statue home. Some already see 'Slumdog Millionaire' or 'The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button' as definite winners and consider Kate Winslet or Angelina Jolie the big female winners of the night.
Let's not forget actors like Sean Penn, Mickey Rourke, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Leo DiCaprio, Meryl Streep, Heath Ledger, Nicole Kidman and other movies like 'Australia', 'The Dark Knight', 'Frost/Nixon', 'Changeling', 'Revolutionary Road'. There are too many too count, but in the end all of them are probable winners, even though some sites already posted the so-called 'winner list' before the show even took place.
Another surprise the Awards have to offer is a performance...probably from Beyonce, who will be joined on stage by many other celebs.
